Professional development
is the key to the treasure of knowledge, experiences, and ideas for learning and teaching. Through different ways of live meetings and collaboration in web communities we encourage co-creation, exchange of experience, improvement of knowledge and skills, and changing the viewpoints.
Professional solutions
are high-quality, efficient and tested ideas, which are the result of developmental work of the NEIS consultants and teams of teachers and headmasters in schools. They are results of national and international projects and tasks, and are meant to be introduced into everyday teaching.
Projects
either national or international, in collaboration with kindergartens and schools, bring new professional solutions. We develop innovative learning environments, search for new strategies and approaches to learning and teaching, and professionally support teachers through different forms of collaboration.
Publishing
brings means of professional and personal development of teachers and other staff in education by publishing professional publications. We publish magazines, monographs and reference books, collections of scientific papers, textbooks and other publications.
International cooperation
is an opportunity for the co-creation and search for new professional solutions in cooperation with international organizations such as OECD, the Council of Europe, UNESCO, and international networks. We also collaborate with the Slovenes abroad and with members of other cultures in Slovenia.
