Povzetek

Obravnavanje podnebja je pri predmetu geografija na vseh stopnjah ključnega pomena za razumevanje naravne pokrajine in družbenega dogajanja v njej. Zato morajo učenci k tej temi pristopiti na podlagi kritičnega razmišljanja in spoznanja znati povezati z drugimi procesi v pokrajini, jih ovrednotiti v njihovem medsebojnem součinkovanju. Pristop k temu je lahko različen. Predstavljen članek podaja eno od možnosti obravnavanja podnebja Slovenije v 9. razredu osnovne šole. To sloni na samostojnem delu učencev, kritičnem pristopu ob uporabi kart, slikovnega materiala in klimogramov. To omogoča tudi urjenje veščin in bralno pismenost s poudarkom na kartografski, numerični in funkcionalni. Potrebno pa je upoštevati, da se v osnovni šoli pridobivajo osnovna znanja in da poglobljena sledijo na višji ravni. Seveda pa je vsako vsebino možno predstaviti in obravnavati na več načinov.

Abstract

Climate of Slovenia – Example of a Lesson in the 9th Grade of Primary School

A discussion on the climate during geography is of key importance at all levels for the understanding of natural landscape and the social activity within it. Thus pupils must approach this topic with critical thinking and be able to connect their findings to other processes in the landscape and evaluate their interaction. This can be approached in different ways. The presented article mentions one possibility of discussing the climate of Slovenia in the 9th grade of primary school. It is based on the independent work of pupils, and a critical approach to using maps, pictorial material and climatograms. It also enables the honing of skills and reading literacy, with emphasis on cartographic, numerical and functional literacy. It must be taken into account, however, that pupils gain basic knowledge in primary school and that indepth knowledge follows at the next level. Naturally, every type of content can be presented and discussed in several ways.
