V Sloveniji smo spoznavali kraška območja, obsredozemske pokrajine in glavno mesto Ljubljana. Izmenjali smo si informacije o šolskih sistemih obeh držav ter podrobneje analizirali vsebine pouka geografije. V Turčiji so nas gostili v pokrajini mesta Izmir, na terenu smo si ogledali še starodavno mesto Efez, geopark Kula in počasno mesto Cittaslow.
Abstract
International Geography Teacher Exchange between Turkey and Slovenia
International geography teacher exchange is always an excellent opportunity to learn about different teaching approaches and improve professional knowledge on the field. The exchange between Turkish and Slovenian geography teachers took place in 2018 – Turkish teachers visited Slovenia at the beginning of July and Slovenian teachers travelled to Turkey in August. In Slovenia, we learned about the Karst and Mediterranean regions, and the capital Ljubljana. Information about both countries’ educational systems were exchanged and geography contents were analysed in greater detail. Our trip to Turkey took us to Izmir Province, and we also visited the ancient city of Ephesus, Kula Geopark and ‘slow city’ Cittaslow.
