Pomoč učencu z disleksijo po korakih petstopenjskega modela nudenja učne pomoči

Povzetek

Disleksija je ena od specifičnih učnih težav, ki pomembno vpliva na delovanje posameznika v vsakem življenjskem obdobju. Poleg zelo pogosto omenjenih primanjkljajev imajo učenci z disleksijo lahko tudi določene talente, ki pripomorejo k boljši učni uspešnosti in boljši vključenosti v socialno okolje. V prispevku je predstavljen potek obravnave omenjenega primanjkljaja po petstopenjskem modelu učne pomoči. Ta predpostavlja različno intenzivne stopnje pomoči, ki sovpadajo z različno intenzivnimi primanjkljaji, ki jih imajo učenci z disleksijo. Na vsaki stopnji pomoči sodelujejo strokovni delavci šole in zunanjih institucij, ki s timskim delom in z različno strokovno usposobljenostjo pripomorejo k napredku posameznega učenca. Predstavljene so nekatere specifične strategije, ki so se pri delu z učencem izkazale za uspešne.

Abstract

Helping a Student with Dyslexia Using the Steps of a Five-Step Model of Learning Support

Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that has a significant impact on an individual’s functioning throughout his/her life. In addition to the often mentioned disabilities, students with dyslexia may also possess certain talents that contribute to better school performance and better integration into the social environment. The paper presents the tackling of the above-mentioned disability using a five-step model of learning support. It presupposes support at different intensity levels that overlap the disabilities of different intensities, as endured by students with dyslexia. The professional staff of the school and of external institutions are involved in every level of support, contributing to the progress of an individual student through teamwork and different levels of professional qualification. The paper presents some of the specific strategies which have proved successful in educating such students.
