Prispevek prikazuje učne situacije, v katerih lahko učenci utrjujejo osnovne računske operacije in razvijajo
strategije reševanja problemov. Učenec z lastnim raziskovanjem pride do rešitev, novih spoznanj in povezav. Rezultate dela v razredu prikazujemo ob številnih fotografijah in s primeri, ki kažejo na aktivnost otrok v različnih učnih situacijah, na njihovo razumevanje ter učiteljevo povratno informacijo. Ključne ugotovitve ob organiziranju in opazovanju učnih situacij v razredu pokažejo, da so pri matematiki v 1. VIO pomembni nazornost in konkretna učna situacija, učni pogovor in vprašanja učitelja, povratna informacija učencu ter zagotavljanje priložnosti za raziskovanje.
Abstract
Inquiry in Mathematics in 1st Grade
This paper shows teaching situations in which pupils can consolidate their knowledge of basic operations and develop problem-solving strategies. Through inquiry a pupil arrives at solutions, new findings and connections. The results of work performed in class are demonstrated with numerous photographs and examples that show children’s engagement in various teaching situations, their understanding, and the teacher’s feedback. The key findings reached from organising and observing teaching situations in class show that the important elements in Mathematics in the 1st educational triad are explicitness and a concrete teaching situation, class discussion and questions from the teacher, feedback given to pupils, and providing opportunities for inquiry.
