Povzetek
Pedagoške fakultete imajo pomembno vlogo pri izobraževanju bodočih vzgojiteljev. Struktura izobraževanja na glasbenem področju na fakultetah v Sloveniji in na Hrvaškem poteka v okviru triletnega strokovnega in univerzitetnega študija predšolske vzgoje z obveznimi in izbirnimi predmeti. V prispevku smo raziskovali, ali obstajajo razlike med slovenskimi in hrvaškimi študenti v oceni pridobljenih glasbenih znanj in sposobnosti med triletnim študijem predšolske vzgoje. Raziskavo smo opravili v študijskem letu 2013/2014, v njej pa je sodelovalo 356 študentov 3. letnika pedagoških fakultet v Sloveniji (N = 168) in na Hrvaškem (N = 188). Vsi študenti pridobljeno znanje in sposobnosti na glasbenem področju ocenjujejo kot zelo dobro, izsledki raziskave pa so pokazali, da slovenski študenti predšolske vzgoje v primerjavi s hrvaškimi bolje poznajo glasbeno področje. Hrvaški študenti tudi pogosteje kot slovenski obiskujejo izbirne glasbene predmete v času študija. Tako slovenski kot hrvaški študenti pa so zelo zadovoljni z izobrazbo, pridobljeno na fakulteti.
Abstract
Assessment of Acquired Musical Knowledge and Abilities of Students of Early Childhood Education at Faculties of Education in Slovenia and Croatia
Faculties of education have an important role in educating prospective preschool teachers. Music education at faculties in Slovenia and Croatia takes place under a three-year professional and university study programme in preschool education with compulsory and elective courses. The paper examined whether Slovenian and Croatian students assess the musical knowledge and abilities they had acquired during their three-year study of preschool education differently. A survey was conducted in the 2013/2014 academic year, encompassing 356 3rd year students of faculties of education in Slovenia (N = 168) and Croatia (N = 188). All of the students assessed their acquired musical knowledge and abilities as very good; however, survey results show that Slovenian students of preschool education possess greater knowledge of music than their Croatian peers. Croatian students attend elective music courses during their studies more often than their Slovenian peers. Both Slovenian and Croatian students are very satisfied with the education they have received at the faculty.
