Vključeni so bili v projekt Varno na kolesu, kjer so vse šolsko leto zbirali kilometre, prevožene s kolesi, v mesecu oktobru novega šolskega leta so postali ambasadorji evropskega tedna mobilnosti, v okviru katerega so s pomočjo zunanjih organizacij načrtovali in organizirali veliko spremljajočih dejavnosti za svoje sovrstnike in lokalno skupnost. Za učence, ki so že opravili kolesarski izpit, so pripravili anketni vprašalnik in analizirali odgovore.
Abstract
Safe Journey Everywhere
Primary School Selnica ob Dravi is one of the schools participating, since 2018, in the National Education Institute’s project with the purpose of implementing a new primary school extended programme concept (RaP). Among the three main areas, they implement the content from area A – Physical Activity and Health for Mental and Physical Wellbeing. Within the framework of area A, they offer various activities, including Safe Journey Everywhere, where the mentor and students focus on acquiring knowledge about preventive behaviours relative to health and safety. During the last school year, a team of 14 students from grades 4-7 were very successful in realising the set objectives and activities, which they demonstrated not only on the school level but also by participating and collaborating in other national projects. For example, they participated in the project Safe Cycling, where they were counting their cycling kilometres all school year round, and in the October of the new school year, they became the ambassadors of the European Mobility Week, planning and organising, with the help of external organisations, a number of accompanying activities for their peers and local community. They prepared a questionnaire for the students having already passed their cycling test and analysed their answers.
