Kako spodbujati medkulturno in medjezikovno zavedanje v čezmejnem prostoru med Strunjanom in Miljami (projekt EDUKA 2 – čezmejni razredi)

Namen pričujočega prispevka je predstaviti inovativni pristop k učenju in poučevanju, ki smo ga razvili v okviru projekta EDUKA 2 – Čezmejno upravljanje izobraževanja (projekt Interreg med Slovenijo in Italijo) in ki temelji na čezmejnem sodelovanju med šolami z istim in različnim učnim jezikom na meji med Italijo in Slovenijo. Osnovni cilj projekta je bil oblikovati skupne učne vsebine in orodja, in sicer v obliki t. i. čezmejnih razredov, v katerih so se učenci sorodnih šol z obeh strani meje srečevali ter vključevali v različne učne dejavnosti. Ta oblika sodelovanja je omogočila medsebojno spoznavanje, vzpostavljanje prijateljskih vezi ter izmenjavo šolskih izkušenj tako med učenci kot med učitelji. Didaktična izhodišča in metode dela, ki smo jih pri oblikovanju dejavnosti v čezmejnih razredih upoštevali, so didaktična igra, spodbudno učno okolje/učni prostor, izkustveno/aktivno učenje, učenje v avtentičnem okolju, načela doživljajske pedagogike ter vsebinsko in jezikovno integrirano učenje (CLIL). V prispevku bomo predstavili koncept čezmejnih razredov in s tem povezana didaktična izhodišča, v okviru katerih so se učenci sorodnih šol iz obeh strani meje srečevali ter vključevali v različne učne dejavnosti. Ta oblika sodelovanja se je za medsebojno spoznavanje, vzpostavljanje prijateljskih vezi ter izmenjavanje šolskih izkušenj tako med učenci kot med učitelji pokazala kot zelo učinkovita.

Abstract

How to Promote Intercultural and Interlinguistic Awareness in the Cross-Border Area between Strunjan and Muggia (EDUKA 2 Project – Cross-Border Classes)

The purpose of the article is to present the innovative approach to learning and teaching, which has been developed under the EDUKA 2 project – A Cross-Border Governance of Education (an Interreg project between Slovenia and Italy) and which is based on cross-border cooperation between schools with the same or different language of instruction at the border between Italy and Slovenia. The basic goal of the project was to design common learning contents and tools in the form of the so-called cross-border classes, in which pupils of similar schools on both sides of the border would get together and engage in various learning activities. This form of cooperation enabled the pupils and the teachers to get to know one another, establish bonds of friendship, and exchange school experiences. The didactic concepts and working methods, which were taken into account when designing the activities in cross-border classes, are a didactic game, a stimulating learning environment/learning space, experiential/active learning, learning in an authentic environment, the principles of experiential education, and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The article will introduce the concept of cross-border classes, and the related didactic concepts, in which pupils of similar schools on both sides of the border got together and engaged in various learning activities. This form of cooperation has turned out to be a very effective way of enabling the pupils and the teachers to get to know one another, establish bonds of friendship, and exchange school experiences.
