Izvleček
Prispevek predstavlja primer obravnave učnega sklopa Gradbeništvo prvih civilizacij – nastanek prvih mest v 6. razredu osnovne šole. Učna ura temelji na sodelovalnemu delu v parih ter vključuje nekatere bralne učne strategije in prvine formativnega spremljanja znanja. Naloge, ki se nanašajo na kratka besedila, učenca navajajo k iskanju ključnih podatkov v besedilu in s tem k samostojnemu pridobivanju informacij. Slednje učenci po koncu obravnave strnejo v povzetke. Pri naslednji uri povzetke izmenjajo in jih kot »kritični prijatelji« po vnaprej danih opisnih kriterijih ovrednotijo. Po končanih aktivnostih izpolnijo kratek vprašalnik, v katerem podajo mnenje o izvedenem medvrstniškem vrednotenju s podano vrstniško povratno informacijo.
Abstract
Inclusion of Reading Strategies and Formative Knowledge Monitoring in Teaching About the Construction of First Civilizations – Creation of First Cities
The article presents an example of teaching about the Construction of first civilizations – Creation of first cities in the sixth grade of primary school. The lesson is based on work in pairs and comprises certain reading strategies and elements of formative knowledge monitoring. By reading through short texts students learn how to look for key information within a text, thus learning how to independently acquire information. The information is summarized into short abstracts. At next lesson, students exchange the abstracts and assess them as »critical friends« based on received descriptive criteria. At the end, they fill out a short questionnaire, stating their opinions about peer assessment on the basis of peer feedback.
