Izvleček
V okviru programa »Ekošola« se je osnovna šola Slave Klavore Maribor v šolskem letu 2010/11 vključila v projekt »Voda kot življenjska vrednota«, katerega cilj je bil vpogled v različne ekosisteme celinskih voda, ozaveščanje o problematiki onesnaževanja vode, razumevanje pomena vode za vsa živa bitja ter dobrega gospodarjenja z vodo. V času enoletnega projekta je bilo na šoli izvedenih več kot petnajst različnih aktivnosti, med katerimi so nekatere postale stalne oblike pridobivanja znanja učencev o vodi, ki jih izvajamo znotraj rednega pouka, podaljšanega bivanja in ekokrožka. V projektu je sodelovala vsa šola, v prispevku pa so opisane tri aktivnosti, ki smo jih učitelji razrednega pouka, podaljšanega bivanja in interesnih dejavnosti izvajali z učenci 1. vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja. Opisane aktivnosti so pri učencih vzbujale navdušenje in radovednost, ob tem pa so razvijali zanimanje za raziskovanje, delovne navade, ustvarjalnost, samoiniciativnost, ročne spretnosti ter pozitiven odnos do narave. Največji uspeh izbranih aktivnosti je zagotovo večja ozaveščenost učencev na področju problematike varčevanja z vodo. Otroci so načine varčevanja z vodo prenesli na svojo ožjo in širšo družino ter prijatelje.
Abstract
Project ‘Water as Life’s Value’
As a member of Eco-school program, the Slava Klavora Maribor primary school participated in the ‘Water as life’s value’ project in 2010/11, its goal being to gain insight into various fresh water ecosystems, to raise awareness about water pollution problems, to understand the meaning of water for all living creatures, and to learn good water management. The project lasted for one year, during which more than fifteen different activities were carried out, and some of them actually became permanent methods for teaching students about water and are now integrated in regular lessons, in after-school childcare, and in eco-green club at school. The entire school participated in the project. The article describes three activities, which the teachers of the first three grades, including the teachers of after-school childcare, and of various extra-curricular activities, carried out with their students. The students participated with enthusiasm and curiosity in the described activities, while also developing interest in research, work habits, creativity, proactiveness, handcrafts, and positive attitude towards nature. The biggest success of the activities is most definitely higher awareness of students regarding the water saving problem. The children carried over the newly learned ways of water saving to their wider family and friends.
