Pozitivna psihologija in dobrobit učencev

Izvleček

Raziskave na področju pozitivne psihologije dokazujejo, da je dobrobit učencev zelo pomembna za življenje nasploh. Pozitivna vzgoja in izobraževanje je nedavno razvita paradigma, ki se nanaša na uporabo pozitivne psihologije v izobraževalnih okoljih. Znotraj več modelov pozitivne vzgoje in izobraževanja so bile zasnovane različne intervencije (znane kot »pozitivne intervencije«) z namenom izboljšanja dobrobiti in učnih dosežkov ter zmanjšanja duševnih težav učencev v osnovni šoli. Prispevek predstavlja relevantne raziskave o teh intervencijah ter nekatere primere njihove uporabe v razredu. Primeri vključujejo aktivnosti, ki se nanašajo na pozitivna čustva, vrline, pozitivne medosebne odnose, dosežke, čuječnost, zavzetost ter psihološko odpornost.

Abstract

Positive Psychology and Student Well-Being

Research within positive psychology provides very strong evidence that well-being brings highly desirable life benefits for children. Positive Education is a recently developed paradigm that refers to the application of positive psychology in educational contexts. Within several models of positive education, various interventions (known as “positive interventions”) were designed in order to improve well-being and academic achievement and alleviate the psychological problems of elementary school students. This paper presents the relevant research of these interventions as well as some examples of their use in the classroom. The examples include activities that deal with positive emotions, strengths, positive relationships, achievement, mindfulness, engagement, and resilience.
